Jon paid me and we completed with no objection from him. His feedback is incorrect and biased. Future providers, be aware. You can execute full agreement and then get negative feedback if you try to protect your extra work. This client tries to fix early low price, gives you larger job after and constantly asks as much as possible improvement.
The full story: Jon started the real project pressing for cheapest bid, easiest solution and short time. I warned him for technical risks in advance. Then I was given in times larger db, complex application with no technical documentation, weak assistance and increasing requirements. Advanced approach was inevitable if we wanted to deliver the end client good product instead of useful software. He approved it, I delivered real demos and updated the price. Then Jon lost us 2 weeks disputing any price increase, any rational reasons and even, he could not express his own problems. It took 2 hours to contact the end client, explain the core problem for the change and to solve the conflict. Compare ¿ 2 weeks to 2 hours. Then Jon ASAP agreed to pay in Elance for the current product. I delivered it fully and as you see, I was paid fully. dbgurus did not have the courage to mention even this. This company (2 men) is only a mediator, a broker. If you take the risk to do business with them, double your proposals and reject in any way extra requirements and care for end client satisfaction. It will be not paid and you will be blamed as devil.”
