Service Description

I'm a specialist in all aspects of the printed word. I'm skillful and experienced at writing press releases, business letters and sales material, copy editing novels, helping to organize complex non-fiction work, and coaching writers of all experience levels. I can also help put finished works on the page, professionally designed and ready for publication.
Services I offer include: Proof reading, basic copy editing, in-depth editing, fact checking and original research, writing coaching, and co-author service or ghostwriting. I'm also fast and skillful at page design and layout, publication formatting, and liaison with printers and pre-press.
Work can be done on an hourly or fixed-rate basis. A word count and a sample chapter, or similar text example, will let me quote a rate for the needed level of editing service.
Many years as an editor and reporter for daily newspapers have trained me to work quickly and accurately under deadline pressure, and helped me master a wide range of subject matter and research techniques. A long career as a self-employed entrepreneur has given me vital insight into the realities of business and marketing.
