I am an independent filmmaker who, in addition to writing screenplays for myself and others, has also written an extensive amount of poetry in a variety of styles.
My writing experience is not just limited to creative writing. I have also written for a series of publications as both a freelance journalist and an editor. In addition to that I have also written letters to my congressional representatives and compiled congressional testimonials on behalf of my work as a art director and board member of a social justice reform non-profit organization.
My articles are usually intended to both inform and engage. As is the standard in journalistic writing, my articles answer the main questions (who?, what?, where?, when?, and why?) usually in the introduction of the piece with the remaining body of the piece being used to elaborate on the event in a language that is both articulating and interesting to the audience of the publication.
Although most of my expertise is centered around media arts and social justice issues, I am a great researcher of new topics. My understanding of article writing can effortlessly be applied to a subject of new research, resulting in a superb article that fits nicely into the artifacts of any cultural that any publication may be addressing....
