I am a published writer of academic prose, and have considerable experience performing research and editing academic writing for journals, manuscripts, and encyclopedias. I have also taught university-level courses in the humanities (including proofreading and grading University essays), and presented at academic conferences. My main research and writing interests include American and Russian history (especially during the Cold War period), science and technology, space exploration, and propaganda and media studies.
For several years I have performed a range of research and writing activities, including archival, library and online research. I have also worked on many aspects of creating oral history collections, from designing and conducting interview sessions, to organizing, archiving, recording, and transcribing interviews.
I have an MA degree in History, and am currently working on completing a PhD in History.
Additionally, I have completed a two-year college program in Music and Sound Recording and have worked in the audio recording field on and off for nearly two decades.
I am also an active and prolific songwriter and performer of original (and offbeat) music.
