I work freelance with two associates who can replace me in case of need. Both rate high in responsability and expertise.
For 20 years I have been a Staff Writer and Translator at newspaper "El País" of Montevideo, Uruguay (member of the group Diarios de América) and Editor of magazines "Paula" and "Arte & Diseño". In such capacities I have travelled extensively publishing interviews to outstanding personalities and my personal impressions of the places I have been to.
During that period I was in charge of translating for the Editorial Page and the Dominical Supplement "Todo el Mundo en el País" articles from Italian, English and French newspapers and magazines on varied topics ranging from International Politics to Travel, from Fashion to Art and Design.
When Bradman's the BritishTourist Guide introduced Latin America in its edition I was in charge of writing the Uruguayan chapter.
As a writer I am co-author of "Historia entre Pinos" (winner of contest among international journalists) published in 1993, and also co-author of "Crónica de Punta del Este", prologued by the uruguayan Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique Iglesias and presented before the Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA) in its Washington headquarters and the Uruguayan Representation before the United Nations in New York in 1997.
I am now a freelance journalist and translator and a few days ago I joined Elance as a Provider member.
