I've been coding more or less F/T since about 2004. I started out with my own projects (e-commerce related web applications) and wound up attending University to professionalize my skills (2009).
Coding (in addition to being a profession) has also been a major hobby to me (meaning I enjoy the work I do and take pride in doing it to the best of my ability).
I've worked on live, revenue producing e-commerce projects both for myself and for employers and clients. There's pretty much nothing that I can't build (given sufficient time).
I've built web applications from scratch as well as worked on projects involving multiple programmers with varying levels of ability.

I built this web-application from scratch. It is a managed wi-fi hotspot service for hospitality-industry locations that would like to time-limit or bill for guest access to wi-fi.
The language stack is PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, jQuery running on Linux. It is still a part-time work in progress.
Through SEO and pay-per-click marketing, the business has attracted nearly 2000 wi-fi hotspot operators world-wide, mostly since early 2011.
E-commerce Web Developer
2011 - 2011
I customized and deployed Terracor's proprietory brand of e-commerce software on an individual, per-client basis. The software was used to build e-commerce web-stores primarily for B2B clients involved in manufacturing and wholesale distribution with product catalogs ranging from dozens to thousands of items.
1999 - 2008
Bowflex's business model was TV infomercial advertising of it's own proprietary line of home-exercise equipment. My job was to close sales leads generated through direct-response media (TV and online) either immediately or through long-term, persistent follow-up with various sales promotions. I was in the top-three for sales generated per hour for most of my time with the company.
1996 - 1998
My primary job function was recruiting and training independent sales contractors to sell AT&T residential long-distance and internet services. Additionally, I personally cold-called small business and sold them related commercial services.
