I have instituted the ‘Maxwell Principle’ of reading in my home. This principle was taught to motivational speaker John C. Maxwell by his dad, and then also used with his own children; the principle says that Dad would choose books to be read by the children, who would then be rewarded financially for their diligent efforts. Since I adopted this idea I have a list of must-reads for my own children. I have now added Warren du Plessis’s book, IN THE BIBLE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS.
The book is a simple and easy to understand read, and even for someone like myself with rudimentary business skills I was encouraged and enriched.
Warren gives practical advice, scriptural references and illustrative stories to make his point.
