“waytoarticles.com was the worst experience we have ever had. We hired them to design and build a website. We gave them a mock up, a list of categories, descriptions, background images, a detailed list of requirements, etc. They initially gave us a standard template that had nothing to do with what we designed. We objected. They sent us another mock up from another template. We objected. We asked to either get it right or cancel. They asked for more time and promised to fix the issues. Our timeline was 4-6 weeks-after months of excuses, delays, and incompetence, we ended up building our own website from a national hosting plan. They begged us to give them more time again and again, and offered to customizations assuring us they fully understood what we wanted and promised to fix it. We gave them at least 6 different opportunities to fix the problems and they did not. We filed a complaint with elance and they begged us for more time and said they would refund our money if we were not happy. 2 months later we lost the entire site. After they 'worked" on the site, we ended up with unauthorized scripts launching on the page, our customers could not sign up, only 1/2 the page showed up in the browser, the images were all messed up etc. We made a final demand to repair the site or refund. They refused, claiming they weren't afraid of us or elance. A designer that worked there contacted us and told us he hadn't been paid for his work. We complained to elance twice. Do not hire this man. Do not hire this company. We are disgusted with elance and the whole process we will never do work with either organization. A complete waste of 6 months of time and more than $1000. The loss of several customers, complete failure to follow through and we suspect sabotage. We had to build our own site we designed on a national hosting plan and they even messed that up. We ended up reverting to a generic template just to get something online. Then...they asked us for more time.”
