Introducing The WordMonster
At an early age Scott started writing for personal enjoyment. He filled notebooks with poems, song lyrics, and stories. Friends and schoolmates would come to him to spell words or check grammar because of his innate skills in English. He never really gave it much thought. He had a natural talent for putting together ideas in an understandable and easily readable form.
In the past several years, Scott has written a handful of articles for magazines and had the opportunity to write pieces for company publications. His previous two jobs, both in the medicinal herb industry, provided him with opportunities such as writing in-house reports, designing brochures, writing text for websites, catalogues, and product labels, proofreading, researching label claims for accuracy, and editing company correspondence for content and grammar.
Scott holds a B.A. in Spanish language and history with a minor in Anthropology from Humboldt State University in California. He has lived and taught English in the Canary Islands, Spain and Quito, Ecuador. He has written a book, currently in layout phase, on the Peruvian plant called Maca and is writing another, a disaster preparedness manual called The Preparedness Primer.
It is Scott’s pleasure to offer his services as The WordMonster to you. Please contact him to discuss any and all writing projects.
