Salesforce.com Project - Need system & process that syncs w/ other systems
I have a company that sells stuffed plush mascots to schools. We have the specific mascot and school color for about 60,000 different schools so we have a pretty big inventory. I am wanting to use Salesforce.com in order to keep everything in sync and to maximize our marketing and sales process. I have the Professional version and it syncs with Quickbooks online.
Attached is a somewhat (but not very) organized idea of what I need as well as questions and thoughts on the process. Please take a look at this before bidding on the project, as it is key to understanding what I'm looking for. It was a bit too long to post here.
I have not used Salesforce.com before, but I have used other CRMs before.
I have an idea of what the sales process should be with Salesforce, but I need someone to help me make sure I have the correct modules in place, to help me import my data, and to make sure I'm using salesforce the "right way" to make the process simple and effective.
We need this to sync with quickbooks (which I purchased that module).
I don't want to have to subscribe to a bunch of monthly services to make this process work, but if I have to subscribe to some, I'd like to learn what my options are.
I have attached a small sample of the csv file that I want to import.
With your bid, please tell me if you could help improve my process, if you would have any suggestions on how I could maximize my process, and if you could set it up where I could start working on selling. Also, please let me know how long this will take. I want to get up and running quickly.
I know we might need to visit some on the phone to do this project and I can phone, skype, email, or whatever is best. I might need a 10 minute walk through on how to use the system, or you could create a video cast on your computer.
