The client gives me a description of what they want in their book cover. They can describe it to me and/or show me examples. I then sketch it out and they tell me if they like it or if we need to modify it (add something, take away, etc.). When I get the okay, I began adding tones in photoshop or another digital computer program. I check in again with the client to see how they like it or if any light modifying is needed before I add color. Color is added, and it's complete. The process usually take 1 to 2 weeks, do to client and I's schedule indifferences when checking in.
