I have been writing for many years, and am a staff writer for 2 online magazines, as well as having my own blog. I am also a member of the National Union of Journalists. I am a perfectionist and will deliver consistently high standards with thorough research every time. Writing is my full-time job - I don't do it as a 'side-gig', it's what pays the bills and therefore I always make sure I give every project 100%. I am a qualified Hypnotherapist, Past Life Regression Therapist, Holistic Pain Management Consultant and have also studied Aromatherapy and Herbalism. I also hold a diploma in Law of Attraction studies. My writing style is observational humour - I have the (sometimes frowned upon) ability to see the lighter side in most situations, and this shows in my work. I am English born and bred, so excellent grammar and spelling are guaranteed - however, I am also proficient in US English, so whether you are in the UK or the US you can rest assured you are in the best possible hands; you have the best of both worlds! I would love to be given the opportunity to show what I can do for you. Thank you for reading.

Hello all, Thanks for checking out my profile. I've been writing for around a decade. I've written everything there is to write about in the romance world. As my experience has increased and more people recommend my services, I am flooded with emails on a daily basis. A good problem to have nonetheless. What this means is that I'm selective with what I take on. If you are to reach out, please note that my current rate stands at 0.03 cents a word. I'm currently a writer at Digisphere Marketing, and Gotham Ghostwriters. I'm also the current owner of Reillywriting LLC, a member of The Author's Guild, and the author of the novel Vanishing Love published by Adelaide Books (November 2020). I've written over 80 books, and my ghostwritten books consistently achieve 4 to 5 stars on Amazon and other platforms. My writing has been published by Freelancer FAQs, Verizon, Ephemeral Elegies, Monologue Blogger, Chegg.com, TheWackyWriter, Dreaming In Fiction, CIC Reports, among others. I've penned four self-published contemporary romance novels Hearts and Diners, and Better at Friendships on Amazon along with holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing from The New School in New York. I've also written over a hundred Ebooks for clients. You can read all of my work and more at joereillywrites.wordpress.com

Words are one of the ways we connect to the world and to each other, but sometimes it can be hard to find just what to say. That's why I'm here. I believe everyone has something valuable to share, and I would be honored to help you find the words that best represent you, your product or your company. My fascination with words and stories began before I could even write them myself, and since then I've authored four books and penned hundreds of poems. I am comfortable with a wide range of writing, from poetry and fiction to blog posts, e-books and articles. While I'm happy to write about and research any topic, I am knowledgeable about mental health and self-care, psychology, languages and culture, and travel. Please message me if you have questions! I'd love to help write the words you want to share!

Published writer. I have a master's degree in English Language and Literature, which gives me the skills necessary to understand literary works on a deeper level and provide my clients with unique, fully edited work. I've written and edited several books of various lengths and genres. I have experience writing for all age groups, from picture books for young children to full length novels for adults. I have experience writing both fiction and non-fiction (biographies / self-help / inspirational). I'm also a book reviewer and a preliminary judge for a weekly writing contest, which has allowed me to criticize all genres, provide feedback on how a story or a plot can be improved, develop and eye for mistakes, and find out what works for an audience. My debut novel "Strategically in Love" came out recently and is available everywhere. My second novel "Words He Never Said." is coming out soon. Being a published writer myself allows me to help you figure out your plot lines, perfect them, and even provide you with advice on tackling the publishing industry (whether traditional or self-publishing). I have ghost written and edited tens of books directed at varying audiences and groups. I'm also a proofreader and a writing advisor. My fluency in both Arabic and English also allows me to translate work between the two languages.

I am an award-winning screenwriter and creative writer. My greatest strength is my imagination. I excel in writing warm, heartfelt stories that appeal to children and adults. I am particularly skilled in children's story writing having been a teaching assistant in my early 20s. Originally from the UK, I have a natural command of the English Language. However, I have traveled to many different countries and like to take inspiration from the different cultures and traditions I have experienced. I have worked for large Hollywood production companies, The Pleasance Theatre, The New Wolsey Theatre, BBC sounds, and a wide range of individuals. I have supported private clients in creative writing and have been a screenwriting lecturer at a film school in Beijing. You can read/listen to some of my work on Amazon, BBC radio uploads, and Potluck Zine. Education: BA: Acting and Contemporary Theatre - East 15 Acting School - London Foundation: Screenwriting - Raindance Film School - London

I am here to help you achieve your goals, and I am passionate in my belief that together, we can achieve anything. I have been Top Rated by Upwork with a 100% Job Success, and my work has prompted reviews including:- " I recommend Peter to everyone who is looking for a responsible, passionate and highly skilled writer or editor......", "..he is fast, talented, flexible and a breeze to work with", "I am absolutely astonished by the work Peter conducted for me......His background in Poetry and legal work really helps create a unique piece of work", and "Pure Talent!" During my professional career, I worked in the Legal Sector for over two decades, and am a fully qualified, though non-practising, Solicitor. My work centred solely around my clients, and I was able to develop my professional and personal writing skills to an extremely high level. More recently I started sharing my personal work on my own WordPress account MrPeterJThomas.WordPress.Com Here I write poetry based on snapshot moments in time. My work has received acclaimed and admiration from those that have read it. I am delighted to say that I have already had many works published. Personally, I find words an incredibly easy medium with which to share all manner of ideas, thoughts or general musings. Having these skills is great, but to me it is much more enjoyable to share my knowledge and abilities to help others put their own feelings, emotions and ideas into words. This may be through poetry, essays, copy, statements, articles or reviews. My skills extend to reviewing other people's work, proof reading and editing the same. I have received praise for my own original work and for my input into the work of others. Deadlines have always been part of my working life and do not worry me at all. I strive to get things done quickly, yet well. I find it helps clients to have an input as soon as possible. To me, the best working relationships are built on honesty and trust, something that I take very seriously indeed. My desire to help people has never wavered, it is what brought me to UpWork.

If you're looking for a lowest-common-denominator editor that will take your work, run it through an automated grammar checker, and toss it back to you, I am not the person for you. If you want someone who will treat your work as if it were their own, nurture it, and make it bloom to its full potential, we should talk! I thoroughly enjoy fixing phrases that might not sound quite right, building more descriptive text in areas you feel need improvement, and ensuring consistency of flow and structure. Proofreader: I've corrected spelling, grammar, and punctuation for hundreds of items, from one-page letters to epic-length novels. The subjects range from simple children's books to quantum mechanics and everything in between. If unsure about a topic, I don't hesitate to ask the client questions about the text to ensure a phrase conveys the intended meaning. Senior Editor: As the sole text editor for DracoArts Studio since February 2003, my responsibilities include: Writing copy for advertisements and newspaper articles Editing the text of my own and others' articles Writing promotional materials and slogans Participating in marketing brainstorming Critiquing marketing designs My skills contribute to improved marketing campaigns for the companies whose promotions in which I participate. That work included proofreading County Woman Magazine, a monthly multi-subject edition of 48-64 pages. I consistently improved the quality of the articles I edited. Books: Besides being a published fiction and non-fiction author, I have edited and written copy for over twenty years. I thoroughly enjoy the detail required for such work, even in cases where the original author has little knowledge of grammar or even English language usage. I have successfully copy, line, and developmentally edited manuscripts up to 150,000 words. Children's Books: As one of my favorite subjects to work on, I have written, edited, or developmentally edited over eighty children's books for ages 4-16. This work includes numerous foreign writers who wanted to make their text work for English speakers and ESL (English as Second Language) readers for ages 4-11. Your work will not be handed off to someone you've never spoken to after you hire me, like many of the expensive agencies that make grandiose promises. All work and communication will be done directly with me. I will be far from the least costly freelancer you could find on Upwork, but my experience and expertise are worth the extra investment.

"Writing stories for children to love." I am a published children’s book author who has been writing for children for over 25 years. It is my joy and passion to write books, stories and articles for kids that uplift, entertain, educate and edify. Many people think writing for children is easy, that all you have to do is “dumb down” the language for kids to understand. On the contrary, there are many things to consider when writing for children that some writers don’t know or think about. Children are a discerning audience and they deserve respect. A 2,000-word picture book for children 4-8 years old is probably not going to sell to publishers. Why? Because the typical children’s picture book is only about 500 words, 1,000 words at the most. (Of course, if you're self-publishing, you're free to break the rules.) If you want to author a rhyming children’s book, make sure the rhyme is perfect otherwise, don’t bother. These are just a few things to think about, there are more. I include these facts in my workshop, So You Want to Write for Children. A well written, engaging story is what children (and parents) look for. As an experienced children’s writer and editor, I can help your story stand out from the rest. Making you look good with a job well done is my ultimate reward. That's my idea of success.

Hi, I'm Malinda, and I’m so happy you found your way to this corner of the internet. With over 10 years of writing experience, I've ventured into all kinds of exciting projects in the online world. From collaborating with small family-owned businesses to rubbing shoulders with giants like Adobe, Harry & David, and 1-800-Flowers, I've had a blast crafting captivating content for them all. But I know you're busy, so let's talk specialties, shall we? My writing expertise spans across various formats, from SEO-driven articles to engaging product descriptions, captivating video scripts, and informative blog posts. Here are some of the areas where I'm most passionate about and enjoy collaborating: ‣ Medical Writer, Healthcare Writer With a first degree in healthcare, I possess a deep understanding of the medical and healthcare domain, enabling me to create well-informed content for telemedicine companies, physician's practices, and medical organizations. ‣ Grief Writer I've had the privilege of studying, interviewing, and working alongside grief specialists across the U.S., and I've participated in various grief-centered retreats and experiences. I hold grief dinner parties to facilitate the conversation around grief, and I'm also a guest contributor across various grief sites. ‣ Food Writer In the food space, I've contributed to renowned food publications and even attended a prestigious cooking school in Cork, Ireland, solidifying my expertise in the realm of food writing. ‣ Tech Writer, Telemedicine Writer In the world of tech, I love working with companies whose focus is finding new ways to connect — whether that's telemedicine companies connecting doctors and patients, education platforms connecting teachers with students, or bringing best friends together for a fun weekend, I'm all in. (Psst... love to use A.I. in your business? As an editor, you can trust me to transform your A.I.-generated content into writing that speaks to your brand's voice and identity.) Next, let's dive into some general rules of engagement (because who doesn't love a bit of structure?!): • As a writer, I prefer written communication, especially content briefs and brand guidelines, as they allow me to fully understand your business, brand identity, messaging strategy, and more. With written content in hand, I can always refer to these documents without interrupting your busy schedule for questions. • Email is my best method of communication, as it accommodates clients in different time zones, ensuring a seamless collaboration process. • You'll find some samples here on this page, but I'll happily send over my portfolio upon request. • While it is true that we are meeting here, in this online space, I've also been featured in print and I'm a published poet. If your writing needs extend beyond the digital, please don't hesitate to reach out! Keen on seeing what we can create together? Here's what to do next: 1. Say hello with a direct message (or an invitation). 2. Share your specific project deliverables and timeline. 3. I'll review, and get back to you with any questions, and, if we appear to be a good fit, a customized project proposal and timeline. See you in the digital space soon, Malinda

I'm a freelance writer specialising in: - creative writing - ghostwriting - writing for children - educational materials (particularly primary school, or TEFL) - article writing - travel writing - editing and proofreading I graduated from Bath Spa University in 2011 with 1st class hons in Creative Writing and English, after which I spent five years living in Asia (China and Japan) where I was working as a freelance writer and TEFL teacher. These days I am a frequent contributor to several TEFL and travel websites. As an experienced language teacher, I specialise in working with those who use English as a second language. I also have much experience of materials with children as their target audience (as I have worked with many different textbooks during my time as a teacher, as well as making my own graded materials and specialising in writing for children during my time at University) and so any creative writing, editing or article writing to do with children would be my cup of tea. I pride myself in sticking to deadlines, working professionally and neither overselling nor underselling my abilities. I have an excellent command of the English language and also speak basic Chinese and Japanese. Contracts I love include: - writing stories for children, ghostwriting children's books and creating educational materials. Whether it's creating a modern version of a well-known folk story or creating original content on a chosen theme, ghostwriting for children is my specialist topic - writing colloquial, easy-to-read travel articles, especially with listicle features and awesome destinations (I specialise in Japan, China, and the UK - particularly my niche of the Channel Islands) - I'm always interested in long-term, professional contracts with top clients If you are interested in hiring me to help with your projects, please get in contact. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am a published author of children's books based in the United Kingdom. I'm keen to keep creating wonderful stories for children around the world. Writing a children's book can be hard work, there is so much to take into consideration: simple but beautiful language, a captivating plot, a relatable character, a good message and so on. Let me help you with all of that! I am familiar with the process that goes behind the creation of children's books and I would be delighted to help in making your project a success! About me: My journey as a children’s writer began with a book I desperately needed but didn’t exist – so I wrote it myself. The book was published by a lovely publisher and was soon followed by other exciting stories. Since then, I’ve been involved in a wide range of projects, both as an author and as freelance writer. I was recently selected for the Curtis Brown Creative ‘Writing YA & Children Fiction’ course as well as the 12-month industry-led ‘Writing for Children and Young Adult’ course at the Golden Egg Academy. Each course has taught me so much, both in terms of skills as well as understanding of this fast-changing industry and I’d be thrilled to share what I’ve learned with you.

I love both fiction and non-fiction writing, editing, brainstorming creatively, and doing voice-over projects of all styles. No matter what type of project, I place all my energy and ability into it, making sure to communicate effectively throughout the entire process. With a B.A. in English and over eight years of freelance writing and editing experience in a variety of fields and styles, I have solid skills in numerous genres. My freelance experience spans a range of e-books, ghostwriting, articles, children's stories, guided sleep meditations, SEO product descriptions, online game dialogue, neighborhood profiles and interactive mobile choice stories. Voice acting is something I truly enjoy, ranging from a naturally warm, child-friendly tone to actual children's voices to a richer, professional tone. I've done voice-over projects ranging from story narration to guided sleep meditations to Online Commercials and Podcast Intros. I use a high-quality microphone, the Blue Microphones Yeti USB MIC, and Audacity software to complete audio edits to my recordings. I am also able to do singing voiceovers, especially children's songs.
