A Ruby on Rails based fitness site deployed to Heroku. Like most major web projects, this was a team effort and this specific project consisted of 4 developers including myself. My role in this project was split 70-30 with most of my duties being backend RoR, although I did do a fair amount of front end development including the creation of a UI to map running/hiking routes that used google maps. The site used html/haml, css/scss, jQuery and Mootools on the front end with Postgres and Solr on the back all deployed on Heroku. Testing was written in Rspec with some Capybara.
