Overload(mixed media:scratch-board/2009)

by Kavon S., last login 2 days ago

Overload(mixed media:scratch-board/2009) After exploring scratchboard through my intial piece, I found it interesting to take advantage of its white by using it as highlights. I wanted to do another, thinking of how I could progress in such technique. I thought of an x ray for it naturaly exludes certain aspects of the body. I wanted to do a piece that compared the original layer of the body with its x ray, thus being leaned to a sort of expiremental design. I used coloring pencil within parts of the scratchboard layer to bring attention to the Informational design on the screen. Previously i had a foil technique layered on top of the scratch board and construcion paper, and may return working on this piece.
