I would like to hire someone to provide a page-by-page analysis / review of a copywritten draft of a screenplay I have written, along with a critique on how to make it better. I am by no means a seasoned screenwriter, but am curious if I have written a screenplay that is easy to understand and has a good plot, well-developed characters, well-written dialogue and good action lines. Preferably, I would like someone who is brash, knows what they're talking about, while providing honest, professional, constructive and valuable feedback without sugarcoating.
The movie is a biopic of an American religious figure from the 1800's. It is not a preachy or doctrinal film, but more of a historical film geared towards a general audience. Realistically, I do not anticipate this screenplay will turn into a film; however, I am trying to understand the mechanics of screenwriting before I decide to devote additional time and resources to this or another project.
Note: if your critique is something along the lines of "This idea will never be made into a film", you may be right, but it will not really help me understand the writing process.
