Our company's transactions and bank accounts are logged and categorized in QuickBooks, but we're looking for someone with extensive bookkeeping and accounting experience to re-organize our records to make it easier for us to access the information we are looking for. And moving forward, we would like someone to periodically maintain ongoing transactions for planning, valuation and tax prep. Need someone to prepare my federal and state income tax return plus any other forms I may be required to file. I am a Canadian citizen permanently residing in NYC. For 2013, I filed a 1040NR-EZ and IT-203. As of 9/19/14, I am a green-card holding lawful permanent resident. I filed an extension for 2014 via Turbotax. I have a sole-proprietorship in Ontario, Canada I have Canadian bank accounts. I am one of three beneficiaries of a Canadian discretionary trust. I still have a small web design business (sole proprietorship) registered in Canada, and I continue to invoice my Canadian clients. I also continue to deposit payments and pay expenses using this account. Need advice on how to report this income/how to generally handle this moving forward. Do I need to file an FBAR? I am looking for someone to to do monthly sales reports for our firm. The data comes in from 10 different manufacturers in both electronic and pdf forms. The data needs to be manipulated in to a standard format and then combined in to one data table. I am currently manually changing the customer names to a common format but this could conceivably be done with a vlookup. Once the data is updated I have several pivot tables that break the data out by sales person, territory, direct versus distribution and by product lines. The method I'm using works but I'm open to improvements. I am currently a year behind on entering data and need someone to catch up all of the data and then do the monthly reporting as it comes in. We will be paying off of this information so accuracy is essential and we will need to build in a double check to make sure the data is correct.
