I would like to build a small module that can parse an incoming document (in RTF, DOC, or DOCX formats) and give me some basic formatting information for that document such as: 1. Margin settings (right, left, top, bottom) 2. Orientation (landscape, portrait) 3. Header Information. 4. Footer information. 5. Different sections inside document. 6. Font styling information etc. The extracted data will have to be saved in the DB (SQL Azure), which will be provided by me. I will share document and other requirements with you once we begin interacting with each other. There should be a total of about 30+ formatting information that will need to be extracted. I would need this as an application that can be run out of a Windows server sitting on Microsoft Azure cloud, so your development language of choice should be compatible with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

I have several Excel databases that I wish to combine into a single one. There are multiple columns in each, some with matching information, and some with unique information. My intention is to end up with a single database with all of the columns merged, but without any duplicates, and with uniform formatting across each. One of the difficulties in terms of duplicates, is that sometimes there may be a conflict of company names (e.g. due to spelling errors), but the email or web addresses (for example) may match. I am aware that there is an automated way to quickly do this in Excel, but owing to lack of experience I would prefer to contract a professional. Having not posted a job like this previously, I am unsure what information I need to provide, so please don't hesitate to ask should you have queries. I am converting a VBA program into VB.NET. I am struggeling to convert the following line: HTXIF.SET_EVENT_HANDLER_OLE(AddressOf EventCallback) In VBA, this command sends the pointer to the function "EventCallback" to the DLL. This is all I want to do in VB. It will probably work with delegates in some way but I don't know how. I haven't programmed the DLL so I can't see it's code. It's probably a 10 minutes job for someone who knows. The person would need to log in my PC via TeamViewer. Please help as I cannot continue without this line.

Hi everyone I will write the steps that I want the VBA program(s) to accomplish and then you can estimate how long it will take. *Main idea* I want the program to copy certain dynamic cells/ranges from a "master" sheet to multiple sheets in the same workbook generated by the press of a button. The sheets are generated according to certain restrictions that depend on 9 columns in the master sheet. The first column is a "name" column. The names of the new sheets should copy the names from the name column. After the certain ranges have been copied, all cells in the generated sheets are locked except for a certain row. Cells in this row can be changed/edited. After changing a certain cell, the numbers in the sheets depending on this cell update (hence, the dynamic cell copying). I am looking for a macro for a word document. I would like the macro to be able to insert any number of pictures in to the report at the same time. Currently I am using a small macro that when I use "alt" "n" "p" all together I am able to insert 1 picture at a time. The photographs need to go in to the report the same way up so there is no need to rotate them once they are inside the document. Also they need to be the same size so they need to fit nicely in the page, I have seen one previously, which inserts 10 pictures per page 5 on the left and 5 in the right with nice spacing inbetween. I am looking for a way to import an important PDF that has 24 pages into an Excel worksheet. The standard ways can only show the first page or a link to the file. This won't work for me as I need all the pages of the full PDF to be imported into the Excel project. See attached for the PDF I need to import. My organization is collecting information using Google forms, which is automatically sent to Google spreadsheets. However, we need to take this further, and want the following to happen each time a new response is collected (each time a new row in the Google spreadsheet is created): 1. I have an Excel 2010 file I made in Windows and it has 10 or 12 macros in it. Mostly like copy and paste stuff and formatting and running Solver. I have a set of approx 30 files compatible with Excel, each with different structures which need to be saved to a common output format to a .txt tab delimited file. Each file is from a different provider, and each provider will periodically give a new file with identical format, so the same processing procedure must be able to handle all files from same provider, even if the files have different number of rows.
