Hi! I am a student in Parsons The New School for Design I am a product design major, and I'm currently working on a project which invoves electronic engineering. I'm making a toy wand with parts like the accelorameter senser, LEDs, audio, speaker, and a dc motor. Basically, the sound player and speaker will be activated when someone swings the wand, which from what I understand is the accelorameter detects the movement, sound then is created.... I took apart a similar product i bought from toyrus :  [obscured]  /p/disney-sofia-the-first-royal-musical-fan/-/A-15145503?ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001&AFID=google_pla_df&LNM=15145503&CPNG=Toys&kpid=15145503&LID=34pgs&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=15145503&kpid=15145503&gclid=CMzpy8yf_sQCFdgdgQodLpgAZA It's a toy fan that creates melody when movement is detected (swinging and Waving.) Basically I want a wand that creates sound effect when its being moved, and then another button on the handle that turn on the LE...

I need a small pocket wearable device for my 5 year old son (ideally sized similar to lilypad/arduino pico) that can be set to vibrate at adjustable intervals (30 seconds to 15 minutes) and record voice for 10 to 15 seconds or so after vibration onto a micro SD. Needs to allow interval setting through PC via micro USB. Battery life of at least 2 hours, on/off control. Extra credit for date/time tagging of sound files. The purpose is to provide my son who has autism with a tactile prompt (silent and not visible to his peers) to speak to peers and record its efficacy. In terms of interval adjustments I only speak scratch and visual basic, but my husband speaks matlab, c, c++, and can limp through python and pretty much anything else. We have some minimal arduino background.

I had a pcb designed that includes an Atmega 328p and some fets to handle the PWM of 4 higher powered led's. The Atmega is essentially waiting for an input to be closed in order to start a scripted sequence controlling the LEDs. I need someone to write a program for the Atmega that will execute a series of fades/pulses for each of the 4 LED's that may be present when the input goes high from the RPi. When the input goes low again the script stops and LED's return to a default setting as they await the next trigger. The script resets to the beginning. I want to be able to write out a text script where each line defines the desired brightness and the duration of a fade towards that value from the current value. For example (assuming 8-bit range for my target value): 256(1000) - LED fades to full brightness from current level over 1000ms 256(2000) - LED holds at full brightness for 2000ms 128(0) - LED immediately changes to half brightness 128(500) - LED holds at half brightness fo...

Hi folks, We have launched an open beta testing of a DIY platform for open source hardware projects. The platform is intended to help new people to start using open source hardware and help experienced developers to work together on the same project remotely by following each other's instructions and contributing to project by submitting patches. During beta testing we want to collect feedback about usability and platform functionality, as well as bug reports and feature requests. We also need to generate some content before the public release. This job posting is first of all about content generation. So we need someone to apply for a beta account and create a project using either Arduino or RaspberryPi circuits. You will need to have your OWN arduino/raspberry pi circuit and rest of the parts required for the project. Project can be fairly easy, but should be complete (so that other people can assemble same device following your instructions) and contain at least 10 steps with sev...

Our company is seeking a freelancer to design and build a data logging board that will be used in an exposed outdoor environment. The device should be housed in a weather tight enclosure. The enclosure will need to have a bulkhead connection in order to allow a water hose to be connected for pressure sensor readings. The device should also be capable of storing readings from a pressure sensor which detects water pressure. The readings would ideally be stored onto an SD memory card for later retrieval. The device should have an external ON / OFF switch. The device can be made using an off-the-shelf device such as an arduino if the cost is less than designing a custom printed circuit board. In summary, the device should have the following operating characteristics: -- Weather tight enclosure suitable for use in an outdoor environment -- Bulkhead connection for water pressure connection -- External ON / OFF switch -- Pressure Sensor capable of being in continuous contact with ordin...

Looking for someone to finish a code, we are a group of designers developing an interactive kiosk that takes the pulse and then generates a patten based on the heartbeat recorded. The touch sensor code is already written, we just need someone to write the code that draws stripes based off of when the heart beats. Payment is negotiable.

Looking for freelancer who can prototype a small working version of marked moving object pickup Robot Arm [This could be considered as Toy Robot, which we can buy on-line for around $ 40-60]. In real world the Arm should be capable to pick up 5-10 kg weight object by its handle [lift up to 0 - 24 inch high, which is configurable], handles are marked with X sign or say specific color. Handles are always positioned to be picked up by Robot Arm, but they are moving linearly very slowly, just need to identify them by X mark or color. It should reject or ignore other handle objects and carry that object to up to 10-12 ft [configurable] distance and drop there gently. The Robot Arms will be hanging on the circular Rail Track on the roof, which is either stationary or moving and based on that the Arm should move on track. The Arm should be programmed to repeat the task automatically. Once switched on, its function is continuously look for moving marked objects, pick them at one end and drop a...

I'm wanting to rewrite this script, but make it write double the size. I guess if you make all of the servo actions twice the amount then this will create the correct actions? I have made the unit precisely twice the size in all respects so I imagine it will work (hope so) but not too sure if simply doubling the servo actions will be that simple?? I will only pay if this works correctly so please think this through! I guess being double the size then if you double the servo actions it should work? Makes sense to me but need a brainier person to have some input!   [obscured]  /watch?v=iOLFP90DneY   [obscured]  /thing:248009

Task is to right software algorithm for encrypting/encrypting the voice on any publicy available devkits like Arduino OR teensy.. You can use standard algorithm OR write completely from scratch. More details would be provided in multiple stages of conversation. If you are interested, please send your first response with following information: 1. Have you worked before on this? 2. What algorithms you would choose and why? Pros and Cons 3. Proposed design in block diagram

Hello, I am wanting to follow the instructable as detailed here:   [obscured]  /id/Uber-Home-Automation-w-Arduino-Pi/#step0 - For my Chilli growing room. I currently have an indoor growing room that incorporates an LED light system and hydroponics system that run off their own digital timers (this does not need incorporating). I wish to setup a Raspberry Pi to monitor the room and use the OpenHAB system running on the Pi to enable me to track and monitor the sensors. I list below the sensors I wish to use and the other parts as per the instructable (already purchased): PIR Sensor - To detect movement in the growing room and log/track it -   [obscured]  /itm/281519724893?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Temperature/Humidity Sensor - To log/track the temperature and humidity of the growing room -   [obscured]  /itm/131291261921?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Waterproof Digital Thermal Probe ...
