We have a browser extension for Firefox and Chrome which is based on a custom middleware which allows us to have only one codebase on top of it, for all browsers. We are looking for an IE extension developer to create an implementation of this middleware for IE (IE8 and higher). The middleware's features are: - Run bundled JS files, providing its API to them (they run in their own context, outside the page, like Chrome's extension background pages) - Run JS callbacks after a page is ready (DOMContentLoaded) - Run JS callbacks when a DOM node has been inserted - Allow injecting JS into the page - Allow the page to communicate with the extension's code through a messaging system - Provide an interface for storing and accessing data - Provide an interface for web requests - Provide an interface for opening/closing tabs/windows - Provide a debug log to write into - Allow modifying response headers of web requests (might not be needed for IE, it's used to circumvent content security polic...
