Introduction: I'm analysing the P&L and Cash Flow projections of a potential expansion of restaurants during the next 10 years. Given certain assumptions I have to calculate the number or restaurants that we can open without resorting to debt and the number of restaurants that we can open having a specific debt (variable factor which should be part of the assumptions). Problem: I have circular references created by debt interest and by the fact that the investment needed for the opening of a restaurant is calculated in the year prior to the aperture.
