Six Sigma Project
The main purpose of the project is to measure ability to carry out a Six Sigma project from creation to the final stages. The project can either be based on a "live" business environment or can be a "hypothetical" business plan.
The project/business plan can be a Service, Industrial, Commercial, or Community project, but must use the tools taught in the different levels of training. The project must show a level of proficiency and the knowledge required to apply the concepts and methodology. It should include every action/result that will take place during each stage of the DMAIC process. The project should demonstrate a significant improvement for a client or company.
A clear concise plan (i.e. Project Charter, DMAIC, Gantt chart, etc.) that demonstrates proficiency in the Six Sigma methodology is expected. Looking for things like comparing possible projects in pre-planning, project charters, understanding and implementation of analysis tools, adequate control plans, etc.
Generally speaking, looking for at minimum 12 pages (most commonly 20-30 pages when counting supporting charts/graphs).
Final project can be in several different file formats (PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project, etc.).
