social media marketing manager - Fixed Price
I am looking for someone to build out and manage the social media presence for a technology consulting firm. The goal is to establish thought leadership in the 'internet of things' through consistent use of Twitter, LinkedIn, and a traditional blog.
There will be some initial setup tasks (for example, establishing imagery, core copy, and consistent branding across sites), then a recurring regular schedule of content creation.
The subject matter will often be 'consumer'-level (e.g., reviews/reposts of new products in the IoT space), but may occasionally be geared toward a more technical audience (e.g., comparison of technology stacks used for IoT development). The more technical pieces will likely have first drafts created by employees of my firm, with the social media marketing manager responsible for editing, enhancing and otherwise adopting the raw materials appropriately for distribution.

My expectation is that the job will entail roughly 5-7 hours a week once established.
The ideal candidates will have excellent writing skills, deep experience with social media, enough technical background to understand the subject matter, and an eagerness to take responsibility for getting good results.
