Customer Food Handling - Telephone Skills and capacity to fax required
I need someone to receive customer lunchtime food delivery orders (takeaway food business) within the hours of 9am-11am, exact time subject to change slightly (Australian Melbourne time zone, AEST = GMT + 10. Note Daylight Savings time also), collating orders into a list, sorting the list to optimize food delivery route, and fax/email list back to our store so our driver can use it as a delivery list.
Details expected from a customer would be simply Name, Phone number, Address, and order - these will be Chinese food orders. All lists are expected to be completed and faxed/emailed to us by a specific deadline time each day (approximately 11:00 pm) so that our kitchen can prepare all the food in time for delivery by 11:30 pm. The list will also need to be organized in such a way that it makes the delivery route for the driver the most optimum. All orders will only be taken within a 2km (this may be subject to change) radius of the restaurant, so there shouldn't be complex route planning expected.
The work will be for every Thursday and Friday, approximately 2.0 hours per day. Phone customer service AND daily reliability is very important. Speedy processing of a simple list is also essential.
