Entry Level Voice & On-Camera Talent - No High-End Camera Equip Required
The Simon Estes Educational Foundation (www.seef.org) is an internationally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit corporation with a 30 year history of providing college scholarships and producing educational media. SEEF is a top tier Elance employer with an online co-ordination staff of 12 and more than 40 active distance workers across all online platforms.
The Foundation is presently seeking the services of actors who can deliver regular short readings, for use in the production of "The More You Know", an exciting news series presented in a cutting edge new media format.
All actor types are open to apply, minimal previous experience is required, and special production equipment is not necessary - most modern cell phones have a camera of sufficient quality.
Our online coordinator reads and evaluates all applications thoroughly and equitably, and does not discriminate against those with little or no Elance work history. For those capable of executing with an eye for excellence and consistency, successive contracts will be supplied in a regularly-scheduled ongoing fashion. This presents an excellent starting opportunity for those endeavoring to build a reputation on the platform.
Selected candidates will be paid to attend an online introduction and training series. Those who have limited previous acclimation to television workflows and practicums will receive valuable experience and, if successful in the position, professionally produced reel content and accreditation. Those who excel are eligible for promotion to part and full time time-flexible telecommuting positions.
Note that 100+ applications will be submitted, but no more than ten will be selected during each initial recruiting round. Promptness, professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail are important distinguishing factors.
This initial contract concerns an extended workshopping session via Skype, conducted by TMYK project lead Lawrence Stevens and/or assistant OL Coridination staff, to benchmark applicant's candidacy for this position. An OLC staff member is available 7 days a week, 18 hours a day. Qualifying applicants are generally contacted within just a few minutes of proposal submission.
BIDS WITH NO RATE SPECIFICATION WILL NOT BE REVIEWED
